Biography

Suzanne Pastor is a German-American artist, curator and collector born in Chicago in 1952, who lives and works in Prague since 1990.She studied psychology at Northwestern and Harvard Universities, then art at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

She has worked at the George Eastman House in Rochester, NY, then from 1981 in Germany, where she studied sunder Floria Neusuess at the University of Kassel.

She worked at the Rudolf Kicken Gallery in Cologne before moving in 1990 to Prague, where she became co-founder and first curator of Prague House of Photography.

She is known for her experimental three-dimensional approach to photography, including collaged photo-objects, photograms and glass book sculptures.
